Enjoy the essence of beauty in Istria
Where time ceases to be important...
Your vacation starts out in picturesque Porec, famous for its green and blue lagoon and the 6th century Basilica of Saint Euphrasia, which has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1997.
Take a stroll through the Mediterranean old town and explore the medieval buildings before setting off on your luxury yacht to the most beautiful destinations on the Istrian coastline.
Rovinj is a charming small town in the heart of Istria. It is particularly beautiful from the sea side, where the picturesque old town rises. It is crowned by the Euphrasia Cathedral, which was influenced by Venetian architecture.
Climbing up to the largest church building in Istria is worth the effort - the view over the roofs of Rovinj and the surrounding islands is spectacular.
The largest city in Istria,
Pula, was founded in 40 BC as part of the Roman Empire. With its antique temples, victory gates and triumphal arches, it offers numerous attractions for culture lovers.
The amphitheater from the 1st century is world famous. Music performances, competitions and festivals take place in the old arena up to this day.
Highlight of every cruise through Istria is a visit to Brijuni National Park, an archipelago close to Pula full of natural beauty.
The main island Veli Brijun is best explored by bike or golf cart. In addition to a diverse wildlife, you will find traces of the lively history of this island everywhere - from dinosaur footprints to Byzantine ruins and the villas and palaces of the Austro-Hungarian nobility, who loved the island as a recreational resort.
East of Istria lies the idyllic Kvarner Bay, marked by its Roman and Austro-Hungarian heritage. Visit beautiful Opatija, once the retreat of the Austrian nobility, whose stately villas and luxurious gardens evoke a glorious bygone era. Picturesque bays, underwater caves, olive groves and hiking trails await on Krk, Rab and Cres, the grande trio of the Kvarner islands.
Head north from Porec and explore the
Gulf of Trieste.
The scenery of the Slovenian and Italian coastline with the cities Portoroz, Piran and Trieste is bound to impress you.
In only 3 hours cruising speed you will reach Venice. Change your yacht for a gondola and explore this world-famous city at length. Afterwards, cross the Adriatic on your way back to Porec.
Another highlight for nature lovers is our shore excursion to Plitvice Lakes. Its spectacular waterfalls makes this landscape a paradise of water and stone and easily one of the most breathtaking scenery in all Europe.
